What is Dreamala?
Dreamala is a dream logging app that turns your dreams into realistic photographs. Each time you log a dream, Dreamala can generate a photo that captures the atmosphere and key elements of your dream so you can revisit it later. Over time, your dreams build into a private, searchable dream archive.
How do I get started?
Simply download the app and press "Get Started". You can create a free account using your Apple account, Google account, or email address.
Do I need to remember my dream perfectly?
Not at all. Even a few sentences are enough to start. Dreamala will ask optional clarification questions to help uncover details you might have forgotten and improve the generated photo.
How soon should I log my dream?
Dreams fade quickly after waking. For best results, log your dream as soon as you remember it, ideally within a few minutes of waking.

How do I log a dream?
Tap the `+` button in the app and describe your dream. After submitting your description, Dreamala may ask a few optional clarification questions to better understand the dream before generating a photograph.
Can I edit my dream later?
Yes. You can edit or delete any dream you've logged at any time.
Are dreams searchable?
Yes. Dreamala allows you to search your dream archive by keywords, tags, and dream elements so you can easily rediscover past dreams.

How does Dreamala create dream photos?
Dreamala uses AI image generation to transform your dream description into a realistic photograph. The system combines your dream description, clarification answers, and optional profile information to generate the photo.
Why do you call them photos instead of images?
Dreamala focuses on generating realistic photographs rather than stylized illustrations. This helps your dream archive feel more like a visual memory album.
Can I generate multiple photos for a dream?
Yes. On the paid plan you can generate multiple photos for the same dream to explore different interpretations of the scene. The free plan allows you to have one photo per dream.
Why doesn't the photo match my dream exactly?
Dreams are often abstract and difficult to translate perfectly into visuals. The more detail you provide in your description, the closer the photo will match your dream.

Is Dreamala free?
Yes. Dreamala has a free plan that allows you to log all of your dreams and generate up to 3 dream photos per month.
What does the paid plan include?
The Dreamala subscription allows you to generate photos for every dream, remove the Dreamala watermark from generated photos, edit dream titles and tags, and create private dreams protected by a passcode.
Is there a limit to photo generation?
Paid users can generate photos for their dreams with a generous fair-use limit to ensure the service remains sustainable for everyone.
Privacy & Data
Who can see my dreams?
Your dreams are private and visible only to you. Dream descriptions are stored securely and are not shared with other users.
Is my dream data secure?
Yes. Dreamala uses encrypted data storage and secure cloud synchronization to protect your dream archive.
Are my dreams used to train AI models?
No. Your dream descriptions and photos are never used to train AI models.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request account deletion at any time from the app settings. When your account is deleted, your dream data is permanently removed.
Account & Support
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion through the app or by contacting support using the contact form. Once confirmed, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.
I can't sign in to my account.
Check that you're using the correct login method (Apple, Google, or email). If you signed up with email, you may need to verify your address before signing in.
